Industrial Mechanic

As an Industrial Mechanic, your main responsibility will be to repair and maintain all machinery in the plant.

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and building systems
• Assessing and prioritizing maintenance work
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues
• Installing, optimizing, adjusting and modifying equipment
• Performing various welding tasks and work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Responding to machine repair requests
• Recommending practical, resourceful solutions to improve machine performance and enhance the preventive maintenance program
• Verifying equipment compliance with company standards and procedures
• Performing other related duties

The skills and qualifications you’ll need:

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Industrial Mechanics
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to work independently, resourcefulness, precision and attention to detail
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex problems
• Good communication skills to understand needs and resolve problems
