If you’re known for your sound judgment, independence, managerial courage, and ability to build trusting relationships, we’d love to meet you!

  • 6 paid days off during the holiday season;
  • Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days of remote work per week;
  • Deferred profit-sharing plan with employer contributions;
  • Employee and Family Assistance Program;
  • Comprehensive group insurance plan (life, medical, and dental coverage) available after 3 months of employment;
  • Telemedicine program available after 3 months, providing unlimited access to remote medical consultations;
  • Social activities (sports, bowling, go-karting, barbecues, and more);
  • Weekly pay;
  • Employee referral bonus.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as an HR business partner to managers, supporting them in their decisions and day-to-day management challenges.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, absenteeism, and disciplinary measures.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and retention initiatives.
  • Manage and follow up on CNESST claims, including temporary work assignments and return-to-work processes.
  • Monitor immigration files and work permits for foreign workers.
  • Participate in salary reviews and advise managers on compensation practices.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes, and tools.
  • Collaborate on various HR projects to support business and operational needs.
  • Analyze HR data and key performance indicators to support decision-making.
  • Work directly in a dynamic manufacturing environment where sound judgment, independence, managerial courage, and close collaboration with operations are essential.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations;
  • 7+ years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment;
  • A hands-on, independent, and proactive professional who enjoys being close to day-to-day operations;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with managers and employees;
  • Managerial courage and the ability to handle sensitive or challenging situations with tact;
  • Sound judgment, analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented mindset;
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and priorities simultaneously;
  • Solid knowledge of employee relations, CNESST procedures, and HR best practices;
  • Experience managing immigration files and matters involving foreign workers (a significant asset);
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, and confidence using various computer systems;
  • Above all, someone who wants to make a real impact and actively contribute to business decisions.

Why join us?

Because at ETALEX, HR isn’t just about sitting behind a desk! You’ll be at the heart of our operations, working directly with managers and employees and seeing the real impact of your contributions.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of HR matters, from employee relations and CNESST claims to recruitment, immigration, compensation, and employee development. You’ll also have the chance to improve HR practices, bring forward new ideas, and lead projects that truly make a difference.
