Production Line Operator (Evening shift)

Then this role could be for you! As a production line operator, you will play an essential role in manufacturing beams and uprights, key components of our heavy-duty storage systems (racking). Every part you produce contributes directly to the quality and strength of our installations. It’s hands-on work you can take pride in.

Work schedule:

Evening shift: Monday to Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Evening shift premium: $1.50 per hour

Your role and responsibilities will include:

• Feeding raw materials into the equipment
• Troubleshooting equipment and making adjustments
• Performing product changeovers and setups on each section of the equipment
• Measuring parts coming off the roll-forming machine and performing quality checks
• Handling and moving parts

The skills and qualifications you’ll need:

• Ability to read a tape measure in inches (imperial system)
• Manufacturing experience (an asset)
• Mechanical knowledge (an asset)
• Ability to lift loads weighing up to 23 kg or 50 lb
• Comfort working in a dirty and noisy environment where hearing protection is mandatory
• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive approach
• Experience operating an overhead crane (an asset)
